Crater is a tribute to the Tongariro Crossing route I hiked in New Zealand. Iron rich reds stained the earth with the color of wine, while mineral rich lakes glowed the strangest shades of green. It was one of my favorite day hikes of all time, with the ever changing scenery providing all the excitement I required.
