Ever since I was a child, I've had a fascination with rocks. I would collect them and put them in jars of water and stare at them. They were so colorful and varied. Today, I like to climb, hike, and rappel through huge rock formations called slot canyons. These are often remote places that are difficult to get to. I've had to challenge myself physically and overcome my natural fears of heights, falling, and tight spaces to experience these amazing places.

I've been creating art since I was a kid. It's something that has always been good medicine for me. My images are often created intuitively from my imagination. Inspired by the natural world, I think about the things I've experienced as I paint or draw. Before I realize it, I've drifted away from this world for a while.
