A botanical term, indicating an arrangement of three or more leaves, petals, or organs radiating from a single node. I have several pieces that I would classify as botanicals. This whorl shown here is more like an arrangement of organs. There is a sensual, fleshy quality to my forms. You are not sure if you are looking inside a flower or inside a human body, but the fluid motion implied indicates this is a living thing.

I've been creating art since I was a kid. It's something that has always been good medicine for me. My images are often created intuitively from my imagination.
